When I set up SP&Co Financial Management in 2012, my ambition was to provide straight-talking, jargon-free wealth management advice. This remains at the heart of everything we do today.
I put a lot of emphasis on personal development and, since starting my career in financial services in 2001, I’ve undertaken a significant number of qualifications, achieving the status of Chartered Financial Planner in 2016. This is the premier title for financial advice professionals and shows that I’ve attained and maintained the highest and most prestigious level of professional achievement.
Prior to setting up SP&Co Financial Management, I had a successful career working for Santander UK Plc. I work closely with other professionals such as solicitors, accountants and other financial services specialists to ensure that my clients receive the best advice available. It’s not unusual for me to work alongside clients’ own professional advisers, making the process simpler and saving valuable time.
Due to our client-focused approach, we’ve built the business solely on introductions, both from private clients and from other long-standing professional relationships. Clients are keen to recommend us to their friends, family and colleagues, so that they too may benefit from the sound professional advice they themselves have received.
I’m incredibly proud of what SP&Co has achieved in a relatively short space of time, which I put down to the great team around me who all share my passion for helping private clients, business owners, trustees and charities achieve their financial ambitions.
We are based in the North West and our offices are in Manchester. I have a young family here on the doorstep in Irlam, I’m married to Katie and we have two children, Esme and Miles. My other passions in life include Manchester United and I’m also partial to the odd game of chess.
